TKSM-245
Takashima D-13 has expanded its chassis range for the Yokomo MS2.1/2.0 1:10 electric touring car with a new 1.5mm titanium chassis, a lightweight alternative to the conventional steel chassis.
Made from high-strength titanium, the chassis weighs approximately 111g, significantly lighter than the standard steel chassis. That makes it ideal for Blinky-class racers looking to get closer to minimum weight while running larger battery packs for more available power.
It also offers potential gains in Modified racing: testing has shown improved corner speed and increased forward traction, giving a different handling balance to the heavier steel chassis.
| SKU | Thickness | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| TKSM-245 | 1.5mm | approx. 111g |
The titanium chassis DOES NOT include screws. It requires 120-degree countersunk M3 flat-head screws. Recommended: Takashima D-13 Torx T7 120-Degree Screw Set for Yokomo MS2.1/2.0 (TKSM-221).
Because the chassis is only 1.5mm thick, it cannot be installed with traditional 90-degree countersunk screws. Using non-120-degree screws will enlarge the holes and permanently damage the plate.
Although you may find this type of screw on the market, we strongly recommend using Takashima D-13 factory-custom screws for the best installation results:
